Windows 10 is the only version I ever tried with, and I've tried a couple of times.įortunately (unfortunately?) I was travelling with an apple laptop in addition, and that was fine, no fiddling required. No amount of clearing cookies, changing browsers, enabling flash everything, disabling all security anything got it going for me.
The credit card video worked fine for any selection, but then it just went black and never started the movie or show. Thanks,I haven't tried with a windows (10) laptop in a while, but the last time that I did, it just wouldn't play the content.
Is it possible to get a current Win 10 machine to play movies on UA IFE? If so, are there any detailed instructions how to achieve this feat? I assume these machines on yesterday's flight were running older software, like Win 7. I was under the impression that it was not possible to get IFE to work on Win 10 because the built-in flash is too new. I am pretty handy with computers, but I cannot get my Windows 10 (with all the latest software updates) machines to work. On a UA mainline 737 yesterday, I noticed several people with windows devices watching movies. This other thread is also invaluable for general fleet updates: Im having a lot of fun tracking my flights and all the other little details. All mainline UA aircfraft should have PDE available (April 2018) Download free on the App Store, Google Play or Galaxy Store.
